Sometimes we need to be reminded that it’s not all about us. It’s about us making sure folks who don’t know Jesus have an opportunity to learn about his love for us. And that’s what our Outreach committee is all about. And we’ve got several opportunities coming up where you can share in that mission.
The Food Pantry is a ministry of this church in partnership with other local congregations, provides food for those in our community who cannot provide it for themselves. The Pantry operates the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, from 12-2 pm. In the 2+ years of the pantry’s operation, we have been the hands and feet of Christ for hundreds of families in need. If you are interested in helping out with the Pantry, contact Brenda Cooper at BCooper647@aol.com or Priscilla King at email@example.com.
Meals on Wheels
In addition to these projects, we are also working with the Williamson County Meals on Wheels to provide meals to those who, because of age or mobility issues, are unable to provide for themselves. Our route is every Monday. If you are interested in helping out with this ministry, you can contact Reba Dunnam at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are many students at all levels in need of mentors to provide a positive adult presence in their lives. School's almost here, so don't delay. If you are interested in any of these activities, you can contact pastor Tommy at email@example.com.
